HempAge AG - Germany. Vertically integrated textile manufacturing
company, involved in growing hemp, fiber processing, spinning,
weaving, knitting, and manufacturing of garments and garment

HempAge AG was founded in April 1999 as the first public hemp specific
corporation on the German natural textiles market. We concentrate on
textile products made from hemp and participate with other hemp-
related enterprises to introduce hemp fiber as a renewable natural
resource for many other technical applications.
The formation of HempAge AG resulted from the fusion of the two
companies, Colour Connection and HanfZeit. The combination of these
two well-positioned and well-known companies in the natural textile
market into one company has created a unique hemp company offering a
varied and complete hemp product range to the worldwide market.
By working on the development of new technical innovations with hemp
fiber, we aim to enable the re-introduction of hemp as a competitive
natural and renewable raw material into markets now dominated by
artificial fibers and other less environmentally friendly natural
fibers.
With our activities, we are striving to help formulate a new
consciousness for the responsible treatment of our natural resources.
By developing new technologies, products and new applications for hemp
fibers, we believe it will be possible to introduce hemp as a viable
natural product into many new and different industrial fields.
