Saint-Gobain UK Superabrasives - Manufactures and distributes precision
superabrasive diamond and CBN tools through the VanMoppes, EH Stock and

The company is now part of the Saint-Gobain group and has changed its
name to Saint-Gobain Abrasives Ltd and merged with Winter diamond tools
Ltd, Saint-Gobain also encompasses other companies such as Unicorn
Abrasives, based in Stafford, Winter who's head office is in Hamburg,
and various other companies in many different industries. There are
approximately 100 people employed by Saint-Gobain Abrasives Ltd with a
further 7 employed by the Research and Development lab located on the
same site. There are two divisions, "Superabrasives" manufacturing
grinding wheels, saws, dressing tools and various other components used
in the electronics, engineering, glass, HSS, printing and various other
industries. "Rotary Truers" manufactures high accuracy wheel dressing
Rotary Truers for Aerospace, bearing and Automotive industries.
In 2002 The newly named Saint-Gobain Abrasives moved to a new site in
Staverton also in Gloucester. This new site has been totally re-fitted
and designed to provide much improved manufacturing flows and
processes. With our new corporate image, improved production facilities
and expert staff we look forward to a prosperous future within the
abrasives industry.
