areas of offshore (both topside and subsea), onshore, petrochemical,

The Company initially began trading over 45 years ago as a
manufacturer of a complete range of high pressure fittings and self
sealing couplings for the Hydraulic and Pneumatics Industry. From
its conception the Company has always been involved in design,
research and development and many of these efforts have been
directed towards the needs of the Offshore, Extractive and Marine
Industries where durable and intrinsically safe products are
essential. An early customer of Phoenix Beattie was the National
Coal Board of Great Britain for whom the Company designed and
manufactured a range of products in the early 1950's for use on
critical applications such as roof supports and lift support
systems.
From this initial concept, the Company has developed into an
organisation capable of offering either stand-alone or fully
integrated systems, from a comprehensive range of flexible hose
assemblies to complete fluid transfer systems.
Today, Phoenix Beattie consists of its main manufacturing base in
Ashington in the North East of England, an assembly and load-out
area with deep water frontage at nearby Blyth, a service depot in
Aberdeen, Scotland and an operations office in Houston, Texas USA.
In addition, the company has a Canadian subsidiary in Beattie
Industrial, a service company based in St. Johns, Newfoundland.
From these locations, Beattie is able to give a truly world-wide
service that enhances our reputation in consistently providing
innovative solutions through practical design.
Quality has always been of prime importance to the Company and all
staff are fully trained in maintaining the Company's Quality
Assurance System that is approved and certified by Lloyds LRQA to

Flexible Connections - Manufactures flexible hoses, sleeves,
bellows, connectors. Can also manufacture bespoke products to exact
needs.
Rubber bellows - a full range of rubber bellows are available from
stock to cater for many applications from heavy industry to food
quality. We stock Vibratory sieve bellows in 4,6,8 and 10" bore
sizes, along with moulded flanged bellows in EPDM, Hypalon and
Nitrile. For instances where moulded bellows are not suitable, a
range of hand-built rubber bellows are available including tapered,
smooth bore and double-arched.
High frequency welding - for airtight flexible connectors, thin-
walled high-frequency welded polyurethane can be produced to any
given dimensions. These units can be manufactured in either white,
opaque or crystal clear.
Ducting - A comprehensive range of Ducting is available from stock
used for air, dust & fume extraction manufactured in a wide variety
of materials to suit the specific medium & temperature conditions.
Mandrel-built rubber sleeves - mandrel-built sleeves consist of a
seamless rubber tube produced with a smooth inner surface and cloth
mark outer cover. A full range of mandrel-built rubber sleeves
ranging from 1-20" are available from stock in a variety of
materials including Para-B and White Food Quality Natural and
Neopene.
