DST - Manufactures permanent magnet coupling systems for pumps and
agitators in agreement with environmental regulations.
In many areas of process technology today, leakage-free transmission
cannot be dismissed on environmental grounds. Highly toxic or
aggressive media demand hermetically sealed drives for pumps, agitators
etc.
Increasingly therefore, permanent magnetic couplings are being
installed to meet the mounting environmental and safety demands in an
optimum way. High torques are transmitted carefully and wear-free
through the vessel walls. If the maximum torque is exceeded, the
coupling will break transmission so that overloaded protection is
guaranteed.
Rare earth magnets with their exceptional magnetic characteristics are
the basic requirement for the application proven, compact and powerful
magnetic couplings from DST.
A significant performance advantage of the DST magnetic coupling is the
freedom from wear in contrast to dynamic seals. The resulting
competitive advantage for our customers provides a growing worldwide
