The function of Cerealia's headquarter is
to coordinate the operations
with regard to business development, financial control, financing,
information and research and development.
Cerealia also have a company for research and development, Cerealia
R&D, that works across the business area boundaries. Cerealia also
finances a foundation for research and development.

Cerealia develops, produces and markets cereal-based foods - flour,
breakfast cereals, muesli, pasta, bread etc. - for the domestic
markets in northern Europe, but we also export to other parts of the
world.
The customers are found in the whole
value chain - from bakeries and
other food industries to wholesalers, catering centres, service trade
and retailers.
The operations takes place in three
strategic business sectors -
Mills, Foods and Bakeries. The decentralised organisation makes
flexibility and local adaption possible - at the same time as the
advantages of being part of an international group is utilised.

Cerealia works with cereal-based food.
The raw material - cereals - is
natural and is transformed into high-quality, healthy food products,
produced with environmental awareness. Cerealia aim to enforce
environmental and quality issues through the whole value chain.
Product development and research about the health promoting properties
of cereals is essential to Cerealia.
International
Since the acquisition of the bread group Schulstad, we have about
6,000 employees and the operations are conducted at about sixty
facilities and sales offices in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland,
Germany, Poland, the Ukraine, Latvia, United Kingdom, USA, Spain,
Russia and Japan. The group jointly owns subsidiary companies in
Finland and Estonia. The turnover is about SEK 9 billion (including
Schulstad).

Cerealia is owned by Lantmännen - Swedish Farmers' Supply and Crop
Marketing Cooperative - which in is owned by approx. 54,000 Swedish
farmers.
