was completed which included extensions to all production units,
installation of new Swiss and British chocolate refiners, two new high
speed, computer controlled, chocolate drop plants capable of auto
tempering and cooling. In addition, a new office complex has been built
coupled with a staff training and a customer care centre.
The on site laboratories are equipped
with state of the art testing
apparatus and a new computer network has been installed throughout the
site which is linked to the Internet. The expansion has also been
extended to the transport division which controls our fleet of new
generation temperature controlled tankers and refrigerated trailers
dedicated to food use only. Each unit is to be fitted with a satellite
navigation tracking system.

Belgian Chocolates are well-known the world over and attract ever

As sited Indaco SpA is an outstanding company in the field of sweet
production. It takes the gradually uprising specialisation, the
benefits of a consolidated traditional sweet industry and the
historical continuity of a profitable establishment in great
consideration. The establishment in Caivano, today owned by Indaco SpA,
was set up in 1979 with the help of ALIVAR as well as with contribution
by the state. Caivano is the owner of the brands Motta, Alemagne, pai
and Pavesi. Since then it managed to reach the level, where it is
accredited as the "Italian Sweet producer", because of its
specialisation became the point of reference for the sweet producing
sector. From this place originating the famous sweets Charms, Sanagola
and Peppermint. From the transfer of the section ALIVAR into private
groups came, that most of the famous names have been sold (today owned
by Wagner Lambert Canada inc.), but the production is still at the
establishment in Caivano. Connected to this, happened the productions
for NESTLE, BRACCO and DEL MONTE FOODS. This is the sign for its
outstanding role in the sweet industry, what has been recognised by the
international companies too. To specialisation of the sweet industrial
establishment in Caivano comes the specific experience of Amarischia
SpA, by whom it is controlled at present. This company was established
in 1969. At first it developed through the small production of
liqueurs. To this came after a short time the high quality production
of squashes and "confetti". From Amarischia comes the ìLa Confetteria
del cuoreî, what is the wide range of ëconfettisí (more than 40 sorts).
