APC has a long standing relationship of over 10 years with a Hong Kong
manufacturer. The production facility is a 260,000 sq. ft. factory in
Guangdong Province, China. The plant is a modern, purpose built
facility, with additional land for future expansion.
Samples, prototypes and low volumes are produced in the UK. Both APC
and the Far Eastern company are Lloyds Registered Quality Assurance
Approved to ISO 9002 1994 standards. The China factory is approved by
most well known product safety approval entities.

D.R.Tecnologie S.r.l. is a private company, established in Milan
(Italy), specialized in development and production of systems for the
electric energy conversion. It was founded in 1956 by Mr. D. Da Ros,
one of the italian pioneers in the application of magnetic fields in
power electronic. The first industrial application, in 1960 with the
Domenico Da Ros Laboratories © trade mark, was the use of magnetic
amplifiers to build battery chargers, alternator's exciters and AC
voltage regulators. Successive applications use the ferroresonance
theory to obtain voltage stabilizers up to 15 kVA output power in a
single module; the same technology was applied in 1961 to produce the
first fully electronic (by means of silicon controlled rectifiers)
static inverter (DC/AC converter) developed in Italy for the supply of
signals and controls of the Italian National Railways.(FF.SS.).
