Velleman Switch N.V. was founded in 1986
to develop and manufacture an
innovative new technology for membrane switch keypads. This new
product was subsequently commercialised under the brand name
ClickTouch and patented in Belgium, Europe and the USA.
In 1989, the company became part of the Arbed-Sidmar Group, a leading
player among European steel manufacturers. Within 12 months, we had
developed a new Europe-wide distribution network and moved to a
purpose-built manufacturing site in Gavere, Belgium.
In 1999 a Management Buy-Out took place.
As from January 1, 2003 the company name changed into ClickTouch NV.
Since our formation, we have developed into a successful, dynamic
business that offers customers throughout the world a range of
innovative, high-quality products and services.
In the past years we have extended our existing manufacturing centre
in Belgium still further, having added increased production
facilities, and expanded our in-house research, design and development
services. As a result of this expansion, we are able to offer an even
higher standard of quality, availability and technical support.
Our development programme is ongoing, and we remain committed to

Clik Dome Systems - Manufacturer of tactile or snap metal domes for
membrane and pcb applications.
Clik Dome Systems
Clik Dome Systems are today probably the largest single source for
Clik Domes with size ranges from 6mm to 20mm in standard 4 leg, round,
triangular format. Space bar domes 25mm to 150mm complete the
availability for any keyboard format.
Clik Domes are incorporated into membrane switches and control panels
to provide the user with positive feedback that switch closure has
occurred. Unlike many other manufacturers, Clik Dome Systems domes can
be plated with either Tin or Gold, and are designed to be an integral
part of the contact system.
On actuation, the Clik Dome is deflected over the contact point
between switch circuit layers (membrane switch type design), or
between concentric pad layouts ( PTH-PCB design and many flexible
circuit designs). Actuation then completes the electrical circuit, and
provides a high tactile response.
All dome types come with a range of activation pressures to suit most
common applications, this coupled with a minimum order quantity of
only 1000 pieces on loose domes enables you to offer your customer
much wider solutions.

was founded in 1986 as a producer company of keyboards.
The production is made inside the company and the productive cycle is
made by skilled personell. The company is equipped with numeric
control machines in order to realize designs, cuttings, incisions,

Started as Lamina Keyboards Ltd. in 1979 by two brothers, Nick and
Maurice Morley, the business was originally set up to manufacture
Membrane Keyboards. However, the sole supplier of high quality domes
at that time was located in the U.S.A. and it was decided that, to
ensure continuity of supply that Lamina Keyboards would need to
manufacture its own domes. This business has grown every year and in
1986 it was decided that Snap Dome Products could supply any customer
who required high quality domes - even Lamina's competitors.

Touch Panel Products - Manufacturers of custom made membrane keypads,

Touch Panel Products and our parent company Permasign, have been in
business for over 30 years. We have full manufacturing capability at
our modern factory in Thornbury, just north of Bristol, for membrane
keypads and our patented flexible sensors.
We have extensive screen printing facilities to clean room standard
class 10,000, which gives us a very high quality print. We utilise a
fully automatic Sakuri, and several semi-automatic Svecia screen print
machines.
Highly accurate laser cut knife edge tooling is used, in conjunction
with our platen presses, for cutting out the individual layers which
go to make up your product. A large flatbed cutting machine can be
used to prototype products, prior to the purchase of production
tooling.
From there our team of skilled assemblers, working again in class
10,000 climate controlled conditions for temperature and humidity, put
the product together. As the units are fully sealed, the quality of
air trapped inside them becomes critical. For example, if the humidity
in the room is too high, this can cause problems with corrosion in the
circuits when they are assembled.
