Panerai Sistemi - Manufacturer of Helipads and systems for helicopter
landing.
Since the 1960s the "Panerai Sistemi" brand is linked to lighting
systems for helicopter visual landing aids. More than 100 military
ships with air capability have been fitted with such systems which step
by step have been expanded and improved until the latest version.
Based on this experience, in the late 1970s, a portable lighting
system, called SAP301, designed to provide visual aid for helicopter
and aircraft, was commissioned by the Italian Army and then adopded by
the other Armed Forces. Starting from the 1980s, a civil lighting
system, called SAN311, was designed and is currently produced for on-
shore applications, where more than 150 helipads have been equipped,
and for shipboard heliports and helidecks.
The equipment is strictly complying with the ICAO requirements and due
to its effectiveness, sturdiness, lightness, is the best solution for
the provision of lights on helipads or helidecks of any type and size.
